What is WCM Exchange?

WCMExchange is the marketplace where you can both find and publish WCBs. For each WCB a description is available that explains the functionality offered, the version number and the publisher. On WCMExchange you will find both commercial and free WCBs. Both certified partners and individual developers are allowed to publish their WCBs on WCMExchange. More information on WCM Exchange.

What is a WCB?

A WCB is a functional component. WCBs can be added at runtime to your existing system and will continue to function independent of GX WebManager versions. More information on WCB’s.

Who creates WCBs?

WCBs are created by members of the GX ecosystem which consists of GX experts, partners, customers and individual developers.

Who supports WCBs?

The publisher of a WCB is responsible for supporting the apps they create. For more information, read the support information provided with each WCB.

I have found a WCB but there is no download button

Not all WCBs are available for download. Each publisher can decide whether their WCB is available for download. If a WCB is not available for download but you are interested in obtaining it, contact the publisher of the WCB. If the WCB is available for download, you must be signed in to download it. If you don’t have an account on WCMExchange of GX Developerweb, please register.

What is GX Labs?

GX Labs is a program that lets GX engineers and other employees share the WCBs they've created with the GX Ecosystem. Inspired by contact with customers of all sizes and from diverse industries, these WCB’s range from simple utilities to entire vertical solutions. These WCB’s are not official GX products and they are are not officially tested or documented. By default, GX standard maintenance support is not available for these WCBs.

How is the quality of the WCBs managed?

The WCMExchange provides an open platform for publishers, partners, customers and developers. All are welcome to publish their WCB on the WCMExchange. The quality of these applications is based on the value that the community gives it in the form of user ratings and feedback. Be sure to read all reviews and feedback before you install a WCB in your production environment.

WCBs can be certified. Certified WCBs have been audited by GX Professional Services and have been been built according the development guidelines of GX and meet our high quality standards. Certified WCBs can be recognized by the medal on the WCB page.
